Does anyone know the name of this poem?

My description isnt that good but it's a poem about a slave who wants to be free and wants to go back to their home in Africa and the only way it can happen is through death. It also mentions something about "Pretty Melinda" or "Pretty Belinda" to come dance with him? Something about her being the angel of death
